Archive Room Publisher Privacy Policy

Archive Room Publisher is an internal publishing tool operated by Soul Archive Room. It manages only the YouTube channels that Soul Archive Room owns: SOUL ARCHIVE ROOM, Pamela Hale, Marlon Wade, Voices of Archive Room and Zen Archive Room. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

YouTube API Services

Archive Room Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the channel owner is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What the tool accesses

When the channel owner authorizes it with their Google account, the tool accesses, for the owner's own channels only:

• Channel identity: channel ID, title and handle, to confirm it is acting on the right channel.
• The owner's own videos: titles, descriptions, tags, categories, privacy and publishing times.
• The owner's own YouTube Analytics: views, watch time, subscriber changes and traffic sources.

It does not access any channel, video, comment or viewer data belonging to anyone else.

How the data is used

The data is used only to upload and schedule the owner's videos, set thumbnails, keep video information accurate, and produce a daily internal performance report for Soul Archive Room. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with any third party.

Storage and retention

OAuth refresh tokens are stored on a single machine operated by Soul Archive Room, in a file readable only by the account that runs the tool. The tool keeps upload receipts (video ID, title and scheduled publish time) so it does not publish the same video twice. Analytics figures are fetched from YouTube each time a report is produced and are not stored by the tool. The tool does not place cookies or store anything on visitors' devices.

Revoking access and deleting data

The channel owner can revoke the tool's access at any time from the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Once access is revoked the stored token no longer works. Stored tokens and upload receipts are deleted within 30 days of a deletion request sent to the address below.
